Additional language support and post production editing features are available only from Presenter 9 onwards.
Adobe Presenter automatically converts voice recording captured during the recording into closed captions text through the speech to text
conversion engine.
You can also enter your own script as the closed caption text and use it.
Alternatively, you can add/edit closed caption text post production through the editing screen.
The control for enabling and disabling closed captions is available in both the Adobe Presenter video recording screen and the Adobe Presenter
video editing screen through the
button.
When you enable closed captions, the captions appear on the right pane of the Adobe Presenter video editing screen. The captions are organized
based on the timeline of the video that is played.
Supported languages*:
1. English
2. Spanish
3. German
4. Japanese
5. French
6. Korean
* Based on the initial Presenter language version chosen by you.
Adding closed caption during video recording
You can use the close caption speech-to-text functionality which automatically converts speech to text format or optionally enter a script in the form
of plain text.
Auto generate close captioning
1. From the Adobe Presenter video recording screen, click the CC button to enable close captioning.
2. Start your recording.
3. Add your voice track and End your recording.
4. Your speech is converted to text.
On completion, it will take sometime for the text to be displayed on the CC pane.
Generate close captioning from script
1. From the Adobe Presenter video recording screen, click the CC button. Add your script on the right side text pane.
2. Start your recording. Press End to complete recording.
3. The text is displayed in the CC pane on the right side of the screen. Adobe Presenter automatically organizes the text as per the video
timeline.
Post production close caption editing
1. From the Adobe Presenter video editing screen, click the CC button. Click and select Edit CC from the pop-up menu list.
2. The CC content panel is displayed.
3. Edit the text by double-clicking the text.
Important points to know:
1. Use >> button in your recording or the editing screen to open or close the CC panel.
